Myofascial Release
What is fascia?
Fascia is the inter-connective tissue that surrounds your muscles, ligaments, bones and organs, running from your head down to
your toes. It protects and allows movement in your body but will stiffen overnight or if you have a sedentary lifestyle, when
the stiffening canlead to pain. It can also protect you after you have had a physical trauma or accident.
Myofascial Release Technique is a hands-on, clothes-off therapy similar to massage, but there is also some gentle stretching
of limbs. The treatment itself is very safe and is applied directly to the skin. The aim is to 'release' the fascia so that it becomes
more fluid which can help with: restoring the full range of movement, digestive problems, groin strain, migraines, tension
headaches, TMJ and much much more. We often use myofascial techniques in other treatments, simply because
they are so effective.
When clients have tried other forms of treatment without success - or have failed to reach a diagnosis
via orthodox methods - Myofascial Release Therapy can be worth investigating.
Get in touch if you want know how it could help you.
Sessions last 60 minutes, and cost £70
